Is it Friday yet?

I rented 3 movies the other night, The Chronicles of Narnia, War of the Worlds and Just Friends. They were all much better than I expected.

Loved the the whole visual of Narnia, and i’ve always loved the story. It really was made better than I expected.

War of the Worlds, well I’m not a Cruise fan, but it was pretty good. I kinda wondered about a few things though, like, with so many people getting killed, how this family is just lucky enough to be seperated and yet they all make it, and, I must have missed the reason Cruise’s character decides he has to kill Tim Robbin’s character. Why not just leave? Maybe I missed something?

Just Friends was really cute. I’m a big Ryan Reynolds fan, have been since 2 guys and a girl. I like the characters he plays, the smartass, funny, quips, and who could resist those dark brown eyes? Yes, yes I drooled when I saw how bulked up he got for the last Blade movie.

In this one he plays a Man who was fat in high school and in love with his best friend (a popular girl). He ends up back at home after avoiding it for 10 years, (he’s successful, thin, and handsome) to find he’s still in love with her. It’s a comedy, and has some funny, quirky characters. Anna Faris, plays a combination Paris Hilton, Ashley Simpson character that’s whacked.

 

 

Tuesday Dell sent a guy to replace the hard drive on this new computer. I spent yesterday doing updates, upgrades, dl’s, and, being booted over and over again, and still having problems. Their customer service people are gonna hate taking my calls, but, hey!

 

My daughter hit another home run in her game on tuesday. She’s a freshman and the Varsity Team has asked her to play. Not only play but start! She’s pretty excited, I’m pretty proud of her!

 

We are supposed to get up to 70 something today. I’m looking forward to doing some pruning and working on my Bonsai. Oops that reminds me, I have a Blue Spruce that’s growing too close to the house, it’s about 5 ft tall (planted by the previous owners), I told my brother Mike that he could have it. I better call and have him come get it before it’s too late to transplant.

 

I have big plans for my yard and garden this year. How about you? BIG HUGS, Steph

Now i’m off to go wander the fields around here. My daughter’s cat, Kimi, is 11 yrs old and a hunter, she lives for it. Problem is she hasn’t come home for 4 days now, and she usually does. I have that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I’m not ready to acknowledge it or accept it, so, I’ll go tresspass and call for her.
