The class party went great today. We had, candy cane hot chocolate, and all kinds of goodies, (cookies, popcorn, rice crispie treats, candy, finger jello, etc. etc.) They watched, The Polar Express, which is a great movie, and the graphics are beautiful! By the time they were ready to exchange gifts they were so pumped with sugar they could hardly sit still! They were bouncing off the walls…. ahhhh the satisfaction of a job well done! LOL
As I sit here and survey the mayhem and destruction that this past week has wreaked upon my house, (it’s been neglected all week, running from play to concert, to basketball games and work to science clubs and shopping, baking, and more baking). I’m thinking that Kay had the right idea…just put lights on the baskets of clean and dirty clothes. Gently drape them over the mountain of dirty dishes, string them across assorted suspicious looking piles of things that I don’t even want to think about. Think how festive and twinkling it will all look! If I weren’t so tired, I MIGHT think about cleaning…. but, the Cat in me says, "it will be there tomorrow", and the couch is looking pretty comfy right now. I think I’ll go watch a movie and have some popcorn.

You sound like one tired, but contented lady 🙂 Glad the party was so much fun. You really packed a lot into yesterday too, no wonder you\’re making like a cat! lol And the moon is beautiful. I wanted to like The Polar Express, but instead I found it rather creepy. Hmmmm… and if I have a vote in the matter, I\’d pick the couch. My kats would all recommend the bed.
