always sound good, but never actually come close to
reality? Well, here is a series of promises that actually
speak of true friendship:
plot revenge against the idiot who made you sad.
2. When you are blue — I will try to dislodge whatever
is choking you.
3. When you smile — I will know you finally got laid.
4. When you are scared — I will rag on you about it
every chance I get.
5. When you are worried — I will tell you horrible
stories about how much worse it could be until you quit
whining.
6. When you are confused — I will use little words.
7. When you are sick — Stay the hell away from me until
you are well again. I don’t want whatever you have!
8. When you fall — I will point and laugh at your
clumsy ass.
9. This is my oath….. I pledge it to the end. "Why?"
you may ask; "because you are my friend".
Remember…….A good friend will help you move…..a
REALLY good friend will help you move a body…….let me
know if you ever need me to bring a shovel.
Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see
it, but only you can feel the true warmth.
And I mean this from the bottom of my heart! BIG HUGSSSS, Steph

So, now they are my babies, and my kids say I\’ve spoiled them, but, they are still sweet and loving so they can\’t be too spoiled! lmao****************************************************************************@Kat, Glad you enjoyed it! Glad your better, and the poem said it all, but I not sure if I had a body that I would want anyone to know, somethings you have to do by yourself!LOL Seems you got t. after you cat, I would tell you that it is a good looling cat, but what the hell I\’m a man and a cat is a cat. Cats and men just put up with each other, women seems to think that they understand each other and know when each other is feeling blue. I only know when a cat is hungrey.Jim

You\’re a far better woman than I, my friend. Thanks for being such a presence in my comment area. I\’ll be back to my sarcastic, charming self soon. For good, dammit!Take care, get well, and have a supah weekend!~k

Hey, Thanks for blowing snot in my office! Damn, it didn\’t work though. I\’m not sick! Now I have no excuse not to go Christmas shopping. That "poem" comment on my page was, I think, from I guy I know who works down the street from my house! He\’s cool, but I deleted his comment because I HATE POETRY.

@BH, Yep that\’s why I like it, more true to life! @Jim, Ok, if you have a body, you can bury it yourself, but, just so ya know, I will help! LOLT, only thinks she wants my baby, I\’m learning Jedi mind control, I gotta refocus her on Indi\’s babies! LOL OH and you do know that Men and Cats are an awful lot alike…..@T, Thanks, You really are good at that, and it was fun reading what you posted! @Mad Dad, It sure rings true for my friends, and I love them anyway! LOL Just let me know and I\’ll bring a shovel! @Kay, I didn\’t have much choice, my kids are sick too, that means I can\’t be, even if I am. LOL Once they get better, then I can feel sorry for myself and moan about how put upon I am. hehe I love leaving comments on your space, you always make me laugh. I\’m looking forward to you being back to your \’charming\’ self! @BRAD, Dang it, I left germs all over the place there. Sorry it didn\’t work. As far as the poem went, it was just so stinkin long, like the Iliad and Odyssey, and my attention span just wasn\’t up to it. He must be a good guy if you like him, …. Evil Scientists usually have cool friends. lol

Ouch! Yes, I have seen all this, perpetrated by my best friend. And yet what is most important is what is only implied. The constancy, the steadfastness, the helping in the only way one knows how. And what about the love behind it all? Ah yes, there IS a number 10! L.
